Complex construction integration
The challenge at Van't Verlaat lay at the heart of modern housing, the perfect connection of sustainable materials. The project required stable wood and steel structures that had to meet strict safety and sustainability requirements. The connections between these structures required exceptional precision. During the implementation, various unforeseen adjustments came to light, from piles to floor connections and transit pipes, which immediately required technical solutions.

From design to realization
A successful construction project follows a careful path from analysis to implementation. At Van't Verlaat Zevenhuizen, a systematic approach was used, with each phase seamlessly flowing into the next, with constructive certainty as a constant factor.
Structural design
VORM4 designed the wood and steel structures based on the requirements for safety, durability and fire resistance.
Detailed calculations
Extensive strength, bending and displacement analyses were carried out to ensure stability.
Model integration into Revit
The structural drawings were built up in a Revit model, projected over the architectural model, making bottlenecks immediately visible.
Coordination with partners
During the process, the architect, contractor and suppliers actively discussed technical changes such as piles, steel construction and pipes.
Management, document control & delivery
VORM4 checked documents from the contractor and suppliers during the construction process to ensure that the execution was in line with the design. In March 2025, the project was successfully completed and handed over.
