About this project
VORM4 contributed to the new-build development and revitalisation of the Enexis facility in Kolham. We identified structural risks without original production drawings and integrated seismic loading directly into the model.

Structural engineering without original drawings
During the revitalisation of the existing building, key production drawings were missing and the reinforcement at critical structural points was unknown. There was also virtually no spare capacity in the existing structure, while architectural and MEP requirements were becoming more demanding. At the same time, seismic resistance was required. The client needed a safe, future-proof design capable of integrating all of these challenges without delay or extensive demolition.
